About
I grew up in the copper colored hills of Tennessee and the rolling piedmont of Georgia.
I have a BA in English from Presbyterian College, a MA from University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and a MFA from the University of Memphis where I also served as fiction editor for The Pinch. Stories have been published in a variety of magazines, links above. I’m also working on a novel, bloodlet & borrow.
Currently, I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I’ve been teaching writing and literature at the University of Alabama for the last twelve years. Roll Tide.
